Throughout my career as a painter, I have always enjoyed teaching. I welcome students of all abilities and ages, and passionately believe you can teach anyone to draw and paint from life.

In recent years there has been a gradual revival of teaching drawing and painting using traditional techniques (the ‘atelier’ tradition), which otherwise would have been lost. From my studio ‘Bowland Atelier’ I teach these time honoured principles of drawing and painting in a clear and logical sequence.
